When talking on camera, my best tip is to just keep rolling. If you make a mistake or feel like you're saying 'um' and 'ah' too much, we can edit that out.⁠
⁠
I go to lengths to edit out filler words as best I can. This always makes for a much more professional-sounding video. I find it's easier to edit them out than to expect myself or my clients to remove the words from their vocabulary. It is hard talking on camera and we are bound to get nervous and make a mistake. Just let that happen and edit out later. At least that way you'll stop psyching yourself out. ⁠
⁠
So if you're feeling frustrated with yourself, take a big breath and let it go, leave in the 'um's' and 'ah's'.
